I am new to FIBS and I have downloaded 3dfibs, but I cant connect.

I looked at the help file, it told me use som  toggles and settings - but they are all blanked out - what do I do wrong?   Tears

If I try to connect - it stays at "validating" forever

Hi,

Are you able to connect to fibs with any of the other programs?

Try with..

http://www.fibs.com/~cthulhu/javafibs.html

Check firewall settings for permissions.

I have just now noticed that if the password is wrong, it will sit on validating wihout any further messages.  Try clearing out the username and password textboxes  and retyping them back in with the save password checkbox unchecked.
