I have a problem with the latest 3DFIBS sounds.  Under options I can try turn them off or select only the few I want, e.g. friends arrive. But they all still play sounds!

Yes even with sounds off under options or only a few selected, ALL still play.

The only way to remove the sounds is to move the *.wav files to another directory.

When I am playing in the evening or during lunch in the office, I do not want the sounds.

How do I fix this?

I have had multiple versions of 3DFIBS installed over the years and perhaps there is something in the registry that needs to be changed to only recognize the latest version?
