Sorry to break it to you this was steifnu..but I played out the rest, which was all quite straightforward, and the herd just pipped you with a 44 to finish.

Thanks for playing - it was a good match!

Well played the Herd!  The fours was with you   Wink

I think my cube error rating may have been affected by the shenanigans in game 1?  I feel I played Ok, probably better than usual, a benefit of having time to actually consider all the options and not just make what looks like the obvious move.  Memo to self: Slow Down!

Thanks for the good match everybody.  And thank you Diane and ah_clem for rolling it all along.

Steve

PS    Apologies for the occasional c##k-up!  Hey, it ain't so easy, playing upside down!

Here's what XG says about the play.  Note that the take "blunder" in game 1 was not actually a blunder on steifnu's part.  Somehow gnu "forgot" his move, so the diagram posted which was the basis of his cube decision was not the same position that gnu had.  His take decision was actually correct based on the position he saw.  Unfortunately, we didn't catch this error until sometime in the middle of game 2, and everybody decided to just play on and let the error stand.

Bottom line is that the .263 take error should be erased, giving him a total error of .300 and a PR of 2.42.  Well done!
