Making the 3 point is obviously a very strong candidate, but is there anything to be said for leaving the anchor? It keeps four builders (after 21/17 7/6, clearly better than 21/16) rather than two aiming at the Herd when they get forced off with a 6. However, no number brings the escapee into direct shot range, the pointing-out numbers aren't so good with the 3 point still open and the closeout is no easier. The Herd also have a few pick-and-pass sequences which could still turn nasty while they retain a four-point board. Perhaps I'm trying too hard to find alternatives to the obvious... I'll stick with 7/3 4/3
