Z rolls a 6-5 and is forced to leave our homeboard.

Zorba,

At this point we have a straight race. How do you want to proceed?  I'd hate to waste two weeks rolling this one off - either we can try to find a time to play it out in real time, or  you can defer to gnu's choices and I'll play it out myself.

I seriously doubt that there will be any more interesting choices to be made in this game.  I expect there will be a lot of moves that have three or more options that differ by less than .01.  Not worth our time to have votes, etc.

23/12 looks obvious here.

I'd say use the gnu bot to proceed and perhaps you can use your own judgement as to whether something interesting enough for a vote/choice comes up? For instance I might just start rolling high doubles and get a real chance in the race, that'd make things interesting  :)

ok, I'll use gnu to finins it, but if an interesting decision point appears I'll pause for a vote or to ask you for your choice.

BTW, here's what gnu 2-ply analysis has to say about this move:

    1. Cubeful 2-ply    23/12                        Eq.:  -0.960
       0.015 0.000 0.000 - 0.985 0.000 0.000
        2-ply cubeful prune [world class]
    2. Cubeful 2-ply    23/17 7/2                    Eq.:  -0.967 ( -0.007)
       0.013 0.000 0.000 - 0.987 0.000 0.000
        2-ply cubeful prune [world class]
    3. Cubeful 2-ply    23/18 7/1                    Eq.:  -0.970 ( -0.010)
       0.012 0.000 0.000 - 0.988 0.000 0.000
        2-ply cubeful prune [world class]

23/12     may seem obvious, but the other two legal moves are within the margin of error.  I don't want to spend two weeks haggling over moves like this! (c:  I don't think anyone else does either. Thanks for the go-ahead to finish it with gnu.
