How about a gnubg-integrated tutor mode that presents the top 10 moves (as analyzed by gnubg) in a randomized list. The user picks (other is always a choice) and then is presented with the \"right\" answer (after the fibs move). I know this is damn close to cheating, but it's just a matter of time before readily available clients like this exist  anyway :)
Of course, if you use gnubg code, you need to respect that license.

Good idea!

But it is very close to cheating!

Maybe it's better to make the analysis after the match, so cheating becomes less easy.
For instance.. you could have a pop-up after the match asking if you want to save a log-file and make an analyses of the match.

Ok , you convinced me.. that would indeed be a nice feature!!

How about this one:

register the levels of play (moves, cube decisions and luck rating) and create a graph for it.. so you can see if you are improving and to see if you are on a loosing streak because you have bad luck or because you played badly...

Just a thought...
