First 'test' tourney for new FLG weekly tourney was today.
Winner is Clay and runner-up DirtyHarryII.
Officially it's starting 1st of May and it's gonna be held every saturday 15.00 UTC.
Concept is the same then in "Fridays3" (except matches are 2pt), so monthly winner will be rewarded.
TD's for the "Mini-Matches" are Diane, Houtx and me.
There is a webpage later for the tourney.

 Kari, I was really expecting that someone will start a FLG Tourney on Saturday, because I can`t catch the Fridays 3 (I`m working `till late ). Seems that I can`t make it for Saturday also, because of the same unfortunate starting hour. I`m also working on some saturdays too
. Is there anything you can do about it? Let`s say move it to 16, 17 or 18 GMT ?
Diane, say something about it !!!

Well you asked me to say something - so I will - but it may not be what you wanted to hear....
I like the earlier time - cos I do try to get out on saturday nights from time to time!
- and the ealier start time means I can be here for the tourney and I wont be late!!
(I hope you noticed 15:00 UTC is 16:00 GMT- that will stay the same - as and when the clocks change!)
Good to hear you will be able to make some of the tourneys though - and there are always the the other events - we can look forward to our team making an impact I hope

15:00 UTC is 16:00 GM
An easy confusion to make but 15:00 UTC is simply 15:00 GMT any time of the year. UTC and GMT are totally identical, the only difference being that UTC was introduced to remove the British element of the name!
Same thing has happened in old year dates, 500 BC is identical to 500 BCE. The latter is now being used to give dates and remove the Christian bias, it just means "Before the Common Era".
Currently in the UK we're on summer time which is both UTC+1 and GMT+1.
