Anybody worried about not being able to complete all of their FIBSLeague Session 83 matches before the October 31st deadline yet?

So far, I've found it really hard to play my opponents without a working server 

I have been able to log in FIBS once or twice for around  last two months.
Also, I usually play from an android phone and it seems the app I have been using since the first day I found FIBS is not working any more.
I have not played any match of the current season.
Do you know about android apps that can connect to FIBS? I use Backgammon Lite.

I found this forum search for FIBS and trying to find out something about why
the server is down or crashing all the time.

Can anyone tell me where I can find out about what is going on so that perhaps
I might be able to offer some suggestions  or get a clue about what is happening.
My old account was timed out I guess and I recently came back with a new one,
but now the system is rarely reachable and when it is it is very hard to get though
a single game, let alone the 3-5 game matches many people want.

I hope I am not off-topic or interrupting anyone, but I used to be a h/w and s.w
analyst so who knows I might be able to think of something to look at.

Evidently Patti has been kidnapped and the FIBS server has fallen into the hands of a teenage hacking club that is trying to see how long the FIBS community will wait for a crumb of information about the status of the server.   

I sent a short message to Patti two days ago and have gotten no reply. There hasn't been a tweet since Sept 10. Has anyone seen or heard from Patti lately? 

If something did or does happen to Patti, is there a succession plan for FIBS?
