FIBS Board backgammon forum

I am interested in organizing a FIBS get-together somewhere in NYC in September of this year.

FRI evening some dinner and Drinks..
SAT some BG and then SAT night more dinner and drinks,,

any suggested venue?

Could you make it the week before since this will conflict with the Jewish high holidays :-( Plus the fact that I'll be in NY the week before

sam shopping in NYC could be the economic stimulus this country needs!

I could not make it the week before, I have bi-weekly commitments - and besides, i'm a gentile

Gathering in NYC!   Sounds like a blast.  I'm in.

I'm all for it, and I think kid_pantyhose will be too.

i think a wonderful place could be at joe's nursing home , very bright and uplifting environment .

I would like to come but this ist just to near-term for me. If you want to give Europeans a chance to attend you should set up a date several months before. Don't want to stop the September gathering from happening ... however NYC would be the best place in the USA for an intercontinental gathering.
