It's actually easier to cast a wide net and ban a country than it is to target an individual.  It's situational, but that's generally the case.

I would be massively opposed to having a profanity filter built into FIBS... it offends my sensibilities.  If a client wanted to do that, I'd be less bothered.

I really ask moderators to delete inim's nonsense as it's not even remotely related to this thread. It seems that inim has such severe psychological problems that makes him pee in the every discussion that doesn't go his desired way.

Once he tried to pee in my thread on MGC and when he was faced with a humiliating evidence, he regretted and apologized to me and moderators in a lengthy PM. I don't know why he can't take lesson from his shameful past, but I hope he will not make a fool of himself as usual.

Let's don't revert to personal insults here.  Not allowed on fibsboard and I don't like spending the time to delete them and send explanations, so stay on a rational discussion mode and try to learn something here, OK?

      :ban:I have thought long and hard over this subject. Racism is one of the worst faults of mankind, and i fight it whenever and wherever i can. I have written about it many times.  I even pushed my motorcycle a half a mile once rather than buy gas at a place where i knew the owner of the station was a racist. 
     But i think as someone said, Nih may not be or may not know if he is a racist,  and believe that he says things to get people riled up and going off. I abhor all the racist terms as well, as they do promote the negative stereotypes. I used to think i wanted some sort of censorship in that here, but have learned to ignore what i do not want to read, as there often are things i do want to read from many of the people who do offend at times.  Also i would rather know who IS racist, up front, as i can then choose not to play them or have telled conversations.  Although i  do have friends who are racist, i do not permit usage of that sort of terminology nor allow the jokes. There is always gag if i cannot otherwise tune it out. 
     In any case, i think that some of those who shout ugly things need a place they can vent in ways they cannot in their real life.  If this satisfies a need, without doing actual harm in the world, then let it be. And some just want attention, and so say things to get it, myself included, at times.   I have seen other game sites where there is censorship, sometimes over some fairly innocent comment, and i prefer the freedom here.
     One way to "censor" racist and other unwelcome remarks is to not respond to them, not play them, gag them until they leave or stop.  We did that with stewy.  Anyway, official censorship is the first step toward tyranny.  We would not want it in our government, so why have it here.
