Do you know who painted the backgammon board on The Triumph of Death of 1562? It's in this question on play65 quiz [http://www.play65.com/backgammonquiz.html]. Up til now I knew all the questions, but never won  unhappy
Do you know the answer? (and don't tell me to google, I thought of it myself  mad)

I think you will find it was Pieter Bruegel, the Elder.

"Google is not the only search engine"

Although, as it happens, the answer you want appears 1st (and 2nd, and 3rd, and 6th, and 7th and 8th, ad nauseam), when you do a search in Google Images (as opposed to just in their general section).

My favourite version of it, though, is this one by Steve Bell:  http://i3.tinypic.com/48pl7uw.jpg
