Title: What's the most suitable host for MGC tournament?
Post by: PersianLord on April 23, 2008, 06:49:53 PM
Thanks to the kind offers of webrunner and Tomawaky, now there are 3 options available for hosting the coming tournament of "Monday Gladiatorial Combats".

As far as I know, people have different opinions on which of the 3 options to choose, so I decided to make this poll to know what's the overall and final opinion of fibsters.

The poll will be open for 5 days, as the 1st round of the MGC will be on the coming monday, so please vote for your desired option as soon as possible.

Regards

I voted no host needed yet.
Reason: get some data first by running 2 or 3 tourneys, think about what do you want to do with that data, find out and decide if any gathered data is useless or you need more/different  data. Then you will know what option for hosting will serve better.
For now, just use TourneyBot and post results on FIBSboard (here)  ;)

Thanks for your input, but as I said in the main thread, MGC will have sessions, which means each player gets some points from each round and the points are to be accumulated to decide the overal winner in the month and then in the year. So we seem to need a host to do this.

Again thnx for the input.
