I think it's an excellent idea basing it around the JavaFIBS interface rather than the separate HTML board you were considering before. Question: does JF display the board numbers consistantly if you swap which player you're watching?

I still like the idea of having differently coloured doubling cubes all displayed together, with each player being assigned a colour for the length of their time in that session.

Would it be possible to have worked into this GUI checkers of different colours to illustrate which moves people are voting on all on the same board?

I really like the Chouette scoring system described by Kleinman in "Vision Laughs at Counting". At some point I'll write a post explaining it. This is a relatively minor detail coding wise for ChouetteBot but definitely helps people understand the history of the current chouette at a single glance.
