I'd appreciate some help in understanding gnu's analysis figures.  I have it set at 2-ply with move filter at Large, all other settings on default.  So skill thresholds are Doubtful .04; Bad .08; Very Bad .16.  Does this translate to equity loss of -4%, -8% & -16% respectively?  I've just analysed a match with a cube decision of mine given as Very Bad, -3.17%, at which point I was trailing 3-4 to 7.  However, this is a long way from -16% so I am confused.  Enlightenment please!

The first link takes you to Albert Silver's excellent guide to using gnu, the second to the page of our very own Zorba's guide. I have used the first one a lot and by reputation, Zorba's is also excellent. You should find all that you need there.

Thanks dorbel, for the very helpful links, not to mention the conversation on-line.  I have been getting confused between positional equity and match equity.  Now for some serious reading!
