If we had a bigger race lead, or if we were in great danger of being primed, running might be right, but not here I think. The trouble is, even if running works, i.e. we don't get hit, the race is still about even and we are by no means sure to safety the blot next time. That last checker is probably doing a good job where it is and this is a good time for a "wait and see" move, 13/5.
