Hi,

my connection broke down and so I have a saved game. I like to resume it to bring it to an end. Is this possible an how??

Thanks for answering

Sure - its very easy.

To resume any saved game type "invite OPPONENTSNAME" with no number

To see all your saved games type "show saved" and on the ones where your opponent is logged in you'll see a star.

Try learning what all the commands do - tho' it's text based FIBS has a reasonable help system : start with "help beginner" for details.

There are ways to do some of this differently with Java but my answers are valid whatever front end you're using.

The command to resume games is............invite "nick" resume   ;)  Try going to http://www.fibs.com and you will find lots of helpful information.

er - that doesnt work, as spielberg stated - it is invite "nick".

If you try it with 'resume' in the command line you will get the following error message - ** The second argument to 'invite' has to be a number or the word 'unlimited'

The 'resume' part comes in if you are using your clients resume function.  Just to be clear for the newbie  ;)
