Herd rolled 6-4, missed the shot and had to leave...skater has 5-1..

I'd be in favor of that.  At this point we're just trying to run of the gammon, although we're close enough in the race that three or four unanswered doubles could win it for us.  ~95% of the time we lose a single game here and there's not very much skill involved to  eke out a win or lose the gammon. 

I'm ready to reset, but the dice need to have their say first.  And it's all up to the dice at this point, so no need for votes.
