Sheesh. Give an up-and-comer a break. _holeymoley dropped at the end of match. We were at 5 (him) and 6 (me).

I hope he does whatever it takes to clear his conscience, provided he has one.

I have played 2 matches with this player, won one and lost one [if I hadn't won one, they would not have a vouch from me]

I would say you have a good chance of getting this match finished.

Try asking them to resume next time they are in. If they respond 'no', or you are sure they have seen the invite to resume [ie they are not a 'zombie', let me know and I will remove my vouch.]
