So - thought you might like to revisit this, given the recent turn of events....
On one hand, there are lots of shakes that send a second checker back giving good gammon chances, so maybe it's too good. OTOH, the Herd has a four point board and I've got four men back - there's lots of work still to be done so maybe it's not even good enough to double.
And on the gripping hand, I can't figure out whether it's a correct take or not. Ergo, by Kit's law the double must be correct.
