Then it's a question of whether to keep going or shuffle checkers in the inner board. 20/14 6/3 better poises us to hit if he leaps with a 61, but that only happens 1/18th of the time and the premature burial of 6/3 looks ugly. The two plays are probably very close, but I like 20/11 slightly better.
Volunteering an additional shot just seems foolish.
