Now it's likely to become mutual holding with our flexibility being greater for the price of having two blots while White has yet no board.
24/20, 8/6 - what else?

Classic strategy says make the golden point.  I'm skeptical that this is best here.  We're behind in the race, and moving up from the 24 allows Julia to dump checkers in her homeboard.  A big advantage to owning the golden point is you lose fewer gammons, but gammon losses don't matter here.  I'd look for something better than the mechanical 24/20.

We're behind in the race and have the better board.  Let's mix it up.  I like the idea of covering the bar point, but I don't want to abandon the midpoint - Julia has to extricate her runners eventually, and the midpoint will make that dangerous.  So, 11/7 11/9.  Slot the back of the prime, dare her to abandon the anchor to hit.

With this move..and the last few you have recommended...can I just double check, whose side are you on?  ;)

I'm starting to wonder that myself, even in my own fibs matches I sometimes seem to be my own worst enemy.  (c:
