I have to ask.

Why did they design it with such a visually poor board?

It's so hard to see the board and make quick counts. I'm not very good with computers. I don't want to try to make a new board.

Why is the Java board done so poorly when everything about it is so good.

It's miles beyond Parlor Play, what I used to play with. But Parlor Play had a great board.

Jake.

There are many interfaces to FIBS, javaFIBS is one of 'em.  If you don't like it, try another, or write your own.

So many string dimensions, so little space time...

Could you please stop whining and start recognizing, that your are just not aware yet about 95% of JavaFIBS' features! If you have a question, just ask, but don't complain all the time

You want a big board? Go to "preferences" - "board", select "vector" ...

... and you get a board, that you can put to any size you require.

You can even put it into a seperate window, that fills your whole screen:

Hope that helped.

I admit to being very computer dumb.

I use Mac, OSX. What is it that you're asking me?

snowjake

I'm sorry, Hardy. I'm not complaining, just asking too many questions.

I love JavaFibs. I'm complaining about Parlor Play which is what I used before JavaFibs. PP was terrible. It would take me 5 minutes to move sometimes. JavaFibs is great.

But I will continue to ask too many questions as I hate help menues.
