Our usual host for this friday, the handsome and charming Bushsucks  is unavailable and we have had to do some searching to come up with a stand-in host.  The willing victi...I mean volunteer, is the even more charming and handsome (ok, ok, I am a bit biased ) padski.  As he hasn't run very many tournaments we have decided he will use tourneybot this week and I will take the standings from the bot and add them into my spreadsheet when I return from work.  I am sure this wont cause you all any inconvenience - and  hope you all enjoy playing 'the old fashioned way' for this week only

Hi Diane, Hi Klaus and Hi Kari,

I don't want to make a big deal because of this, I simply want to clarify! I heard in shout that Luckydice and Zorba had a played off yesterday, but isn't it the 3 of us have the same amount of points? I maybe don't know the rules but as Kari told me this is how it suppose to be.

2 players with same overall pts after each month last tourney, will play a deciding 3ptr. 3 players, then round robin. 4 or more, then normal random bracket!

would be nice to read some infos

The monthly winner will be decided by a play off of all those with the same number of points in the fashion that you describe, however it is played at the time, if one of the players is not present those present play off.  This is a little tough - but we cannot have it hanging on and spend a lot of time trying to arrange for all the players to be in at once.  I am afraid it is the responsibility of those players who have a shot at the monthly winner award to be there at the time F3 is played so they can be included.
If you were there and missed - that is a whole different problem - but surely you would have mentioned it at the time if that was the case?

As you can see - there were three players with 16 points giving a tie break situation - unfortunately samirah had logged out and missed the chance to play off for the title of monthly winner.  After a further battle, LuckyDice got the better of Zorba and won the overall tournament for August - congratulations LD!! See you next week I hope...
