You are going to have to tell us which interface you have chosen to use to log into fibs, as what you are asking will be different for each.

However, there isnt much to help there, except a contact for the developer. I messaged him to see if he responds to help you.

If he doesnt, I will try and find someone on FIBs who uses this client to come along with some help for you. Maybe they could do some screenshots or something

i would recommend you try the multi-platform javafibs as it is probably the most used desktop client and will allow you to set up a good fibs experience with public and game chat windows, fairly quickly.
