Spoiler

These are the types of moves where over the board you  don't think it really matters much what you do, only to find out that gnu dings you with a "bad" grade. So while it's tempting to just slide them around willy-nilly, some care is called for.

I don't think purposefully hanging around trying to send a fourth checker back is productive.    But while we don't necessarily want to hang back, there's no pressing urgency to get both out of there.

I like the checker on the 13 where it is - it nicely guards a 1-6 escape. Plus, it could combine with another checker to make the 7 point (probably our foremost strategic objective for a few moves) if only there was another checker in range.  So, let's put one there with 19/11.
This gives us a double shot on any escapee, plus a 1/18 chance to prime next move.

Where to move the other two fours?  We could move both trailers out, but I think we're better off moving one eight pips to get it closer to where the action is (i.e. th 7-point). Which one?  Clear from the back - 23/15.

19/11  23/15 (or 23/11 19/15 if you prefer)

ADDENDUM:  I see that 19/11  23/15 was not an option, so I went ahead and added it.  It's also not terribly different than the current leader 22/14 19/11.  I'll stick with my play, but will gladly switch to 22/14 19/11 if another option starts drawing near.  Unless there's something I'm overlooking, I don't see much difference between the two.

Spoiler

The Forum's choice is 3rd best and a .021 error.  My play, which I thought was almost identical to the Froum"s play comes in 11th and .05 error.  Anybody see why this might be the case?  I'm baffled.  I wouldn't think that they'd be more than a .01 difference.
