The fifth tournament is now open for registration:

Play starts a few days after all 32 places have filled, plus there's extra time to complete the first round.

I have slightly adjusted the brackets so that players can no longer meet for a second time in the fourth round of the second bracket, although it can still happen in the fifth or later rounds. The various advice I've been given about the Double Elimination format conflicts and for now I'm happy with how it stands. If someone would like to *specifically* offer an alternative, here's the php script displaying exactly how players progress:

I haven't looked at using TourneyBot for the Postcard tournaments, something to consider for the future.

Tournament 5 has been very slow to fill up, possibly because of people taking summer vacations? We'll allow more time in the August rounds to help work around that.

noodle and wingtsun will be TDing now, while I'm taking a back seat...

best is to go to www.fibsboard.com/postcard and there click on the link you like, e.g. brackets for the recent tourney(s).
This way you can notice news we put on that starting page for our tourneys.
For quick lookups we recommend having a bookmark for the brackets page.
