just a quick thanks to everyone - i'm now pretty comfortable with 5 pointers and am again rated around 1900 on fibs.
That's with me only playing 5 pointers, only choosing to play gammonbots from the middle of the available list or anyone who offers me a 5 point match (unless they're under 1500)

i'll soon be back with my next help request once I can put it into words :-)
