Pre-season Team Ratings and Seed Order

FIBS Team League Season V started today with 17 teams down from 19 last season, but others may well be added .. based on individual player FIBS ratings, average team ratings are used for the seed order below .. while the pre-season average team rating is only an early indicator of relative team strength, the top three finishers last season, Club Voodoo, Cube Sluts, and Take the Money and Run were among the top five seeds in last season's pre-season ratings

Top Five Seeds
Take the Money and Run, third seed last season, takes the top seed with the addition of elmicho to dorbel and BushSucks .. Club Voodoo, last season's champion, remains intact with scuba, gumpi, and factotum and remains the number 2 seed .. last seasons top seed, Smack, Slap, and Spank (1850) is replaced by Sixty and the Pips, number 3 seed with my new teammates roderick and jukins .. Ottoman's Empire remains intact with otto, jimbok, and taylor and repeats as the number 4 seed .. Virtual Addicts remain intact with mradica, kristoffer, and Tomawaky and rounds out the top five seeds, up from number 7 last season

Other Repeating Teams
the Cube Sluts, champions for the first three seasons and second place last season, also remain intact as a team with Backwoods, donzaemon, and diane returning .. the Sluts are the number 8 seed, down from number three last season .. three other teams remain intact with the same players from last season - schigstogsedat, Axe Wound renamed from No Nuts A**hole, and two homos and a phobe (MOJO last season) .. UN Trio repeats with two new players, juanz and _centasivo .. and a chick, cowgirl, is added to two chicks and a dick (two dicks and a chick last season)

new teams may be added or changes in players may occur during the first few days or weeks of this season, i'll update the seed order, if necessary .. once the season is underway, i'll begin posting projected standings based on predictions from simulations of position by position play including current results .. the seed order above is based soley on average team ratings .. predictions of the model based on position by position simulations may vary from this seed order .. it will take a few days to set up the model for this season

updated to include two new teams, Buds 'n Brat on day 2 and Rigged Dice on day 3, and also corrects minor rounding errors .. Rating and Exp are team averages for members FIBS ratings and experience on opening day or as new teams are added

New Teams

Rigged Dice with blitzxz (1851), wordman (1827), and ckopmann* (1777), enters play as the number 4 seed .. Buds 'n Brat becomes the twelve seed with blotsalot (1757), DeaDice* (1675), and Kari_Grandi (1777)

They're Back

the Cube Sluts, number eight seed originally and number nine now, are off to a remarkable 8-0 start at the end of play on day 3, Friday the 18th
