Is anyone interested in a Santa Barbara Meet-Up on Saturday May 23rd, 2009?

Time and specific location to be determined by group concensus.

Please post here if you are interested or message me on fibs.

I think I'll be in Santa Barbara that weekend and could make it.

I just realized that the 23rd is Memorial Day Weekend and several of us (myself included) don't want to meet that weekend.

So, the other options are:  17th or the 30th.

Any preferences?????

lets keep it memorial day weekend, because most of the people agreed to it. i am all for going to sb on may 23rd?

Denise

OK.  If people are good with the 23rd, it's good by me.

How does Noon @ East Beach Grill sound?  About 1.25 miles east of Stearn's Wharf.

Parking is tough to best to arrive early.

Your meetup is starting to sound like a Chinese Fire Drill.

Its the East Bay Grill, on Cabrillo street.

I had high hopes but it looks like I cant make it this time.  So sorry.  I do appreciate you guys hosting this though..  There should be more of these.

Denise

We should have more of these.

Keep it simple and just pick a date.

One week to go on this one.  Anyone else interested in meeting up?

Denise

I drove up to SantaBarbara today.  It was much more overcast than here in Ventura County.  Cooler, too.

Parking is $2.00 for 3 hours or $7.00 for the day.

East Beach Grill is 2 blocks from the zoo (which has it's own parking lot @ $4.00 per day).  Admission to the zoo is about $12 for adults, if anyone is interested.

We're planning on meeting @ Noon but I will try to get there earlier to grab a few tables.

I don't want to post my phone number here but will message to you on fibs upon request.
