I will move obvious moves in the bear off - but this one can be played a few different ways..so thought you might like input  ;)

Herd 6-1, 6/off, 1/off
Julia 5-4, 5/off, 4/off
Herd 6-1, 6/off, 6/5

Very rare that not taking off as many as possible makes a lot of improvement - if I take three off this time, future 2s play reasonably well. 2/off(2) 4/off

And those rare times where it's correct to bear off fewer than possible almost always leave an even number of checkers to go (meaning you bear off in the same number of rolls).  This isn't one of those.
