Title: Welcome to this new area for Botchee
Post by: Botchee on October 10, 2011, 05:14:05 AM
Botchee combines luck with skill like Backgammon or Yahtzee, or choose "No Dice" for complete reliance on skill like checkers or chess.  Sudoku sets the patterns of play, but botching is a key strategy used to win the game.  As many as six can play the Xtreme edition, which was just posted on Botchee.com, please give it a try.

Xtreme edition uses a board of 24 tiles which you can see at TopHatSudoku.com where you can become more familiar with the unique patterns.  Hope you have fun and look forward to hearing your thoughts and strategies on how best to play. http://www.botchee.com (http://www.botchee.com)

Title: Botchee 4x4 now available in the App Store!
Post by: Botchee on March 02, 2015, 10:45:14 PM
Hi, I finally got Botchee 4x4 into the App Store!

Here is a link from my iPad: https://appsto.re/us/XbOZ5.i
And from a desktop:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/botchee-4x4-sudoku-gone-mad/id969834609?mt=8

Here is a few FAQs, etc.

Botchee brings Sudoku to a new level of entertainment. At only 4 squares by 4 squares, the puzzle is small, but the challenge is great as you pit your mad "botching" skills against robots bent on your destruction.

Each robot is named based on capability:

zBest1move plays to score the maximum number of points on each turn.  zBotcher does best1move, but also knows to botch the puzzle when he goes first. The player who goes second has a distinct advantage, if the puzzle is solved; "Botching" the puzzle removes this advantage!

Placing a number awards points equal to the number placed i.e. place a 3 for 3 points. Sound effects will amuse.

Bonus points are also awarded for completing a row, box or column.

Placing a single number may complete 1, 2 or 3 regions; bonus points accumulate for each region filled.  Placing a 4 that fills three regions awards a maximum of 21 points on a single turn!"

Botchee 4x4 is bit like tic-tac-toe, on steroids; visit Botchee.com for more information.

P.S. Please post your comments and how you fare against zBotDuh; did you out-botch zBotcher?

Plans are in the works to make it multi-player, so you can play against each other.
