Title: Writing new client
Post by: eddie on August 20, 2020, 11:25:25 AM
Hi ,

I am trying to write a fibs client ,
I saw the protocol description and i think it is excellent (CLIP etc..).

however, i noticed that when i play a game (right now against bots) sometimes i am represented as the X player (-1) and other times i am represented as a 0 player (1) in the board state format.

  my question is:

When i play how do i know if i am represented as X or as 0 ?

Maybe I'm not understanding your question, but if it's your turn to roll the dice and you try making your moves with X and you can't seem to move, then I would guess you are the O.
