Title: Failure to resume with mgnu advanced
Post by: mrbond on May 03, 2004, 04:54:35 PM
I had been playing magu advanced, and winning the game, when it offered a normal resign, which I refused. I then waited patiently for mgnu advance to roll the dice. I then notice in the shouts that advance has said mrbond has dropped and would any one else wish to play!

I disconnnected and updated my list and as soon as mgnu advance was available, I requested for a resume. The game restarted, with the roll being held by magnu advanced. At this time it asked me "Are you there?".

I have tried again on a number of occassions to resume, but have encountered the same problem.

Any suggestions as to how I may be able to resume this saved game??

Thank you.

Have you tried then commands "move" and/or "roll"? You must give it these commands with "kibitz".

Could it be that gnu's resign is still pending? I don't remember if the resigns still are active after a break in the game. Try to type reject/accept in the command field next time.
