harakiri 13/8, 10/7
basically everything is grim and I dont see many roll making anything much better.  One gme wining parlay is leaving my block 5 points away and hoping for forum's 55 followed by a hit, dance and close out.  I could invariably crunch my board.or prepare to crunch it.  Or I can try to stretch this game out another mouth (not likely since many rolls will be forced).  This is looking like an "Im in it until the end" game.  Forum 11 was not the swing that I was looking for and now..anything goes.

Yep.  The best chance seems to be forcing us to send another checker back, then sitting on the bar hoping for a shot.  It's a longshot, but better than the passive 10/2 or 13/8  6/1.

I'll start a rollout and post it later this evening.

And there was me thinking you were letting ah_clem move for you - turns out, you were!

Well, the chosen move certainly presents the biggest pain in the posterior to us.   I almost suggested it to psyche him out into moving something else, but decided that wasn't sporting.

BTW, gnubg at "Advanced" plays 6/3 6/1 of all things.  6/4 6/2 was the choice of 2-ply analysis.  Still waiting on the rollout...

Wacky as it may seem at first glance, spreading 'em around with 13/8 10/7 is best.

Well played, rkb.

Its clearly a double match point thing.  Clearly with money or gammons this wouldnt be the case and its close.  An interesting thing with moves like this..its kinda like a woolsey double... if you dont know exactly how your oppoent should play they return...then they probably dont either..so if its close..it makes it the best move even if a little bit is lost.  Plus of course in this situation.. the desire to be in it until the end adds drama to a fun cycle coming to its close.
