I think you're in the wrong place.
My advice would be to go to the newsgroup rec.games.backgammon and post your problem there.
Good luck.

Quotenot sure if I can post it here

Although Maria's advice is good, this is a backgammon forum and a forum for our favorite backgammon playing site, Fibs, but not exclusively so.

You are welcome to post here, and I, for one, would be interested in your experience so that I may not repeat the experience myself.

Is the site GammonEmpire/Play65? If so, they've been famous lately by confiscating players money without no real reason. Marias advice is good, R.G.B.
Another site where is samekind of threads is: http://www.bgonline.org/

Earlier this month I was unable to log into Gamesgrid (GG) for a few days. When service returned I checked my Jackpot account and the balance was zero, instead of more than $3,000 I had before the disruption.

I managed to chat with Gabriella on 13th June. I do not know her actual position with GG but over the many years I have been with GG under different nics she has always been THE person to contact over jackpot account or membership issues.

Gabriella told me, quote: You should have received an email explaining that GamesGrid poker merged with Tony G Poker on the iPoker network. In transferring the poker accounts, the non-US backgammon players were mistakenly included in the migration.  All migrated accounts have to be reviewed by iPoker, and the money has to be transferred from iPoker back to your account.

She went on to assure me that my money will be returned within 48 hours.

Pertinent to irrelevant notes: I did not receive the email she refers to, but then neither did my other nic or a friend with a GG jackpot account whose balance has gone missing. Also, I asked if the 'migration error' had anthing to do with GG being offline a few days, and she replied, quote: that was just an unfortunate coincidence...hard drive failure.

After 3 days and since, I have been unable to chat with Gabriella because whenever I have seen her online, which is often, her status is continuous 'away', and other jackpot/membership help staff have mysteriously disappeared from the GG lobby.

Since 19th June I have sent Gabriella several internal GG messages and also a string of emails to GG support, asking for an update on developments, and also for confirmation of my account balance prior to its disappearance.

No response, not a peep, complete silence, not even the courtesy of a reply, and though I would not at this stage level accusations of theft or even negligence against anyone, I feel justified in suspecting that something is not quite right and there may be more to meets the eye than an honest mistake.

Of the GG members I know have or had jackpot accounts and with whom I have discussed this matter, each confirms either that they are still waiting after more than 2 weeks for a sign of their funds, or that their money has indeed been returned though they have been unable to withdraw it due to a 'system glitch'.

My patience is running thin, and part of my frustration is that until now nobody outside of GG appears to know what is happening.

As an unknown in the bg world I certainly do not expect anyone to bat for me, but your seasoned advice is invited, and though I wouldn't for a moment suggest that GG jackpot accounts are no longer a safe investment it is clear a problem exists, also clear that the problem is not being handled in a responsible manner, and anybody intending to deposit funds into a GG jackpot account may like to think twice before doing so.
