Sadly, March 28th I lost my father. I got a lot of support from my fibs friends. Therefore, I would like to share some photos. The first is him as a child he is on the left sitting on his mother's lap. The second is his engagement party. The last his how i knew him the last twenty months of his life after his stroke when i was his caregiver.

Sorry to hear about the passing of your father, resh. That's quite a moving choice of photos.

Thanks for sharing those with us resh, although the loss is great when a parent leaves us, it does seem it was his time. Although he wouldn't be able to say so, the care you gave him was a wonderful gift, so many elderly people end up alone and neglected.

RIP Mr Gordon.

Resh,

I offer you my deepest sympathy & my condolences!

I recall a telephone conversation we had sometime ago, & when you told your Dad you were talking to someone in London, I heard a little laughter, followed by a comment, "I had a some good times, when I had visited London, some years ago"!....... That brought a little smile to my face, with you attempting to extract more details about "good times in London" from the ol' fella!

I hope your journey in life was filled with many a good times!

Rest In Peace
That will be shaken, not, stirred!

Hi Resh,

First, accept my hearty sympathy and condolences!

Second, I would like to tell you that I really appreciate your great service to your deceased father. In our cruel times, a very few people are capable of showing so much devotion to their old parents as you did. My father had a similar story with his mother. While all of my aunts and uncles had left her and had moved to another city, my dad kept her accompany, even though he knew this would definitely debar him many opportunities for advancement and success. But when my grandmother passed away in 1998, he felt very relaxed that, contrary to the other members of the family, he had accomplished his moral task to his old & kind mom. I think and hope you have the same refreshing feeling now when the memories of your dad come to your mind and this should help you overcome the great loss.
