Why does an  opinion in oppposition to your own always constitute a whine???

The more people complain, the better.

Why?

It's more like, the more people register opinions, wether complaints or vouchers, the better. What's better, is that the reputation metric more accurately reflects the sum opinion of the fibs population, whatever that is. This of course assumes the majority of people vote according to their true opinion.

It's valid to suggest ignoring Biggles, whose reputation is as well deserved as his rating.  However, how can you ignore the jerk when he brings his sick hatred into tourneys and league matches which have rules requiring politeness?  Then you are stuck with playing him and putting up with his rude and crude abuse.

Certainly in the cases where Biggles brings his filth into friendly tourney competition, he should be banned -- not from FIBS but from the leagues and teams in which he plays and refuses to use basic manners.

I have never got problem with biggles and receive no complaints about him in the FibsLeaGammon.
I will certainly not ban him from my league in this case.

I admit I was skeptical to learn that Tomawaky might be rude, and not surprised to learn it wasn't true -- Unless someone can point it out.  Did I miss something?

What you've missed is your gag command. People try to start flames all the time, the solution is simple: don't reply.

So, having picked a fight with one of the two nicest guys on FIBS, he now seems determined to go after the other, Biggles, the most popular FIBSter. Pretty shameful.

It seems to be the same people, ie. don and Biggles, that get into conflicts on a regular basis. Can they not be banned?
