I can see Ricks point though...a round of matches, where one team play each other isn't a match, a tournament or a league.

That is the word that needs to be chosen [preferrebly not using another perfectly good word and redefining it  ]

How about 'challenge'...it isnt a team match, it isnt a team tournament and it isnt a team league...can you use a 'team challenge' to cover the round of matches that will be played out to decide the winning team in this single event?

Or am I oversimplifying?

ok, the first Team Gammon match-up has been completed!

The Calithumpians thumped on Triple

It's somehow fitting that i was the major reason for my team's loss

Thanks to all who participated. I've been pretty busy lately, but i will have a lot more time after Sunday, so please give me input, i will start programming again on Monday. I've already seen the need for something to indicated when a match has not been verified, and the need for more instructions on each page (i plan to use tooltips for most). The rating change was not correct for the looser, so i need to debug that.

There is a new team - The bug Busters --- and I have challenged The Calithumpians to a 7.5.3 match-up (everyone needs to accept b4 the match-up will begin and then i would like to make changes b4 we actually start playing matches, if any don't want to play, please delete match-up)
