Backgammon in the Jerusalem Open Air Market

The big open air market in Jerusalem is called either 'the shuk" which i think is Arabic or "mahane yehuda" which means camp of Judah, which is from the bible.

A small corner of the shuk is called "the Iraqi shuk" where they play backgammon and other variations. They also play cards and dominoes in a room next to the area where they play backgammon.

I took this picture of people playing one point backgammon with no cube for 5 New Israeli Shekels per game.
