Kid In Manchester, a short notice meet up (revisited)

Our very own kid_pantyhose is coming to race at the velodrome in Manchester, I have decided not to miss this opportunity and will nip up and meet him on Monday the 11th Sept - as well as watching him race no doubt. This is a quick post to see if any other local fibsters want to join up on Monday - or perhaps make arrangements to help him pass the rest of the time. Anyone interested?

It was rather a hurried visit in the end, since I had to rush back to attend a course on Tuesday. Therefore we didnt have time to arrange anything with any other fibsters, which was a bit of a shame, but we did get to watch kid in his time trial event and go for a very quick beer afterwards.  Here are the promised phot..blurs, wish I had found out how to take sports photos with my camera BEFORE we went and watched him hurtling around the track at upwards of 25 mph!! It is just possible from the blurs to make out kids rather patriotic shirt

What your photos didn't show is that everyone else was on tricycles and they only let kid bring his 2 wheeler to let him keep up.
