3DFiBs has recently integrated repBot menu commands for \"ask\" and \"list\". It will also read the http://fibs.com/savedgames litst independent of repbot and instantly display a 'saved games' number on the invite screen invoked from either a sent or received invitation.  Although the saved games number is not an absolute indicator of any unsporting behaviour, it can be reasonable grounds for further investigation before committing to a long match.

I have been thinking of setting up some sort of multi chat feature but since I dont do alot of chatting, it is not on the top of the list of todo.

What is  \"interesction\" method.
Could you explain it..

I think Burper has a nice thought there, about the rooms i think.
But it will take a lot of programming no doutb.

I have got a request that will take you a couple of minutes tops (i think).
Could you add three more options to the repbot menu
1. vouch
2. complain
3. withdraw voucher or complain?

Just an idea...

Hi webrunner,

3DFiBs ver 2.2.204 has the repbot menu features you  mentioned. There are also some improvements to the savedgames local file download routines now using visible IE component to download the file. There is also a progress indicator for those pauses when converting a file to jf.mat format or parsing the savedgames file.

I have another feature request.
My girlfriend (hypnosa on fibs) and i use the same computer but we can't share 3dfibs because it doesn't let me save multiple settiungs like Kibitz.txt, friends.dat and stats.dat.

I think it would be nice if all the data and settings (like skin setting, login name password and all the other settings etc.) was posted in ini files in a user directory and the possibility to ceate multiple users.
When you start the program it will first ask you what user u want to use with a pulldown menu.

Another positive thing about this is that it is also easy to backup your data, and files don't get overwritten when you reinstall the software.

I hope i am making any sense.

I have been considering this option but never got around to it mostly because it has not been requested as often as I expected. One way you can share the same machine is to install the program into different folders and rename the icons on the desktops. This will enable each user to have their own stats.dat friends.dat etc. The only thing lacking is the save username/password feature, which is not terribly inconvenient. But nonetheless, I will try to eventually get it to support multiple users since the multiple install is rather cumbersome. I have just finished cleaning up the menu->edit->friends.dat and stats.dat area that was in pretty bad shape (im surprised no once complained about it ). They now have some functionality for things like sending messages, adding friends viewing the entire stats or friends data etc..will be ver 2.2.208

Intersection method: take yesterday's list of saved games and compare them to today's savedgames. only count the ones that appear in both lists. It's set intersection, yes?

But there isn't a \"yesterday\"'s list to get hold on, is there? It would require the users to log on every day to have yesterday's list available. What happens if you do the intersection with a list, say, a week old? It works for the bots that doesn't have a life, to be on every day. ;-)
