I hate this opening roll - there just aren't enough of them  My favourite is to move 24-21[2], 6-3[2], but there are just too many good things to choose from.

I would play this full speed ahead to double priming. It might be a interesting game also.

I think he should duplicate sixes with 24/18 13/7.

While giving serious consideration to ah_clem...I have decided against duplicating 6's.  Its weird for me to look at the board backwards.  I might just have to set this up at home.  Okay hold on..I ma gonna set it up....okay same choice..
24/21(2), 13/10(2).

Normally I like the double hit.  I guess the forum is happy they didnt split with 13/8 24/20.
Your  builder on the 9 spot makes me want to move up to the 21.  I take away point numbers AND put pressure on to move that piece.  After that I have 6/3(2), 6/5(2), and 13/10(2).

6/5(2) is clearly NOT the right idea.  I have 2 stacked points and I give up the 8 point for the 5 and it looks akward.  6/3(2) is to far forward for me,  Ill want more pieces on my 6 point. With a 5-3  I make the 3 point because a  blot in the outfield if not ideal anyway its close but I think this leaves me well set up for whatever comes. Anyway almost all the options are about the same.

The backwards board is giving me a lot of problems too  ;)  I can play this way around on a real board without really noticing - but on screen, it is just all wrong

No need to make 21-anchor in my eyes..I would go for 13/10/(2) 6/3(2)

My moves are upside down so it feels nicer to set it up on a board.

On my move....

I may be playing and opting a tad for the more passive move becasue im up 1-0.  It's not neccessarily a conscious thing though.

I will see if I can flip the board if it's your turn, road.
