But there was definately an ad there for other backgammon sites - cash ones as well. - Thought you didnt want that?

True.. and i will try to avoid that.
But the truth is .. withn google ads i can't.
The only way is to get advertisers myself.

BTW.. everyone sees different ads. I see Dutch ones (since i am in Holland).

very entertaining these google ads. Supposed to automatically detect the topics on your page and match you up with appropriate ads. It's fun to figure out why some ads come up here! Last page had "pillowcases on sale" and "ladder accidents". The page was the fibsleague forum, so maybe 'ladder' i can understand??? But pillowcases...hmmm

Now this page has an interesting couple: "xtremepixels-get skinned" and "forumer.com - free forums, Free BANNER-LESS forum hosting". LOL! Pretty cool that one

Anyway, I like to click on the ads, figuring that webrunner might get some more cash that way.

Yes i saw the forum one - made me giggle - but havent got it back to go check it out, hmm wonder what Very powerful hosting with a free domain for just 13 pounds 99 a year is all about?

I click on them too - but am being strong so far - managed to resist the walnut board, i have strength i didnt know  

And as for

which wasnt even an ad - just a statement!

Sometimes ads are shown wich are for good causes, chartity of you will.

I have hosted a forum once on a free forum hosting server but it was sooo slooooowwww...

Still i will take a look at it.

Sometimes the ads also show google trivia, questions wich will be answered when you click them. That will return a google search with the answer in it.

I only get money for clicks on the commercial ads a few cents per click i think.

I just saw thge ad of free forum hosting at http://www.forumer.com/ and i clicked it and....... got a blank page !!!!!!!!  

well.. that is what you can expect for free hosting i suppose.
