From Sezame to Gold in one season?

I just played a S63 match against Franklyn_Fox. After we played I clicked on his profile (since it was the first time I ever see his name) and realized he was in sezame1 on season 62 and now he's on GoldB for Season 63, with just 5 played games (4 wins, 1 loss and 1 forfeit). Then I think: "WTF" and rushed here to ask what would have happened.

I asked him, no reply.

I see his account was created in June, maybe they were changing nick names and that's why they were moved up
