I have windows XP.  Can someone provide me with a link of the exact version of java that I need?  There are too many choices on the java website.  The notes in the javafibs download states that the java file should be 5-8mb.  But the file I tried downloading from the java site was 120MB.

Thanks!

I'd suggest you go to http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html and click on the "Download J2SE JRE" link. That will let you download the JRE and not the whole dev kit. Remeber to take the offline option since the online one messes up occasionally. It's 15 MB.
