but all my links *were* backgammon-related... oh well

So lots of sites have collections of links, which as you know get old and stop working. Does your special link section do any checking?

Yes, i have a link checker in there, and i personally check links every once in a while.

o yeah, well done inim, i was going to mention the breugel- triumph of death.
its in madrid if anyone fancies checking it out for real. madrid is a place and cannot be reached via a simple link.

Oftentimes old links which are now "dead" may be visited using http://www.archive.org/index.php- a time machine for the web at which, unusually, a fibster actually "works".
