Link to register?  Demands Java?  There are more clients to use.  Please check out the following link:

Not quite dead and not ready to go into the cart.  Not sure what you mean by "sign up" links.  If you want to create a new account it depends on which client you are using to access it.  If you had an account and haven't used it in a few months, it might have been deleted.

General Chit Chat / Is Fibs dead?

Most posts stop before 2017. Sign up links don't function. Am I trying to join a dead organization?

Failed link to register, Demands Java.  Is Fibs basically dead? Most forum comments cease about 2014?

I am a noob to FIBSand trying to download software for an iMac running MacOs Big Sur 11.6.

At FIBS the latest Mac download appears to be CocoaFibs OS 10.3+.  It is a dead link. Advice?

General Chit Chat / MAC compatible software in 2021?
« Last post by sepharad on October 08, 2021, 01:55:19 PM »
Is there MODERN software for serious play on an iMAC?  I feel like a dinosaur on the brink of extinction.

I currently have absolute backgammon 64 and remain skeptical that there is nothing better.

I am looking for software that simply loads and works on a iMAC.  No code editing required.

General / Re: What other servers do fibsboarders use?

May I say something in favour of Richard's Play-By-eMail Server.

http://www.gamerz.net/pbmserv/

No membership fee. There is no software for you to download. There is no awkward Flash or Java content. Games can be played in correspondence mode, via eMail or via a web interface. No doubling cube. However it does have a small community of players who are happy to play on a site that is not overloaded with too much functionality or media content.

Using backgammon software / Gnu Backgammon. Compiling for Windows.

Can I ask whether anyone here has managed to compile the GnuBG open source code and generated a program executable for running on Windows? Or has at least tried? I would like to be able to do so for the console version of the program ( gnubg-cli.exe ). However the GnuBG web site gives almost no instructions for doing so.
