I am new to fibs using 3dFibs (hello everyone). I have played~10 games and was a little disappointed to have already had 2 games end at moments that could only be described as highly suspicious!
How does one go about trying to resume these games?
Also is it possible to change the board colours somehow?

Thanks point

Hi point,

Unfortunately sounds like you're the victim of droppers:
http://www.fibs.com/guide.html#community (http://www.fibs.com/guide.html#community)
http://www.fibsboard.com/repbot/ (http://www.fibsboard.com/repbot/)

They do tend to prey on newbies, those scum droppers!  :puke:

I recommend you get used to RepBot as that will save you most of the time. On the whole FIBS if full of friendly backgammon players, your first experiences aren't representative of the server as a whole.

Not familar with 3dFibs myself so don't know how you change the colours or board.

Hi,

There is no way at the moment to change colors in the board because the images are pre-existing bitmaps. One way to get an alternate board is to copy the dimensions of the existing pictures in the pics(default) folder and create another folder with the same image names and different colored board and checkers as some users have done. You can then select the folder from the options preferences menu. You might find some of these alternate boards in the forum section.

Look here (http://www.fibsboard.com/index.php?showtopic=43) for alternate boards and here (http://www.fibsboard.com/index.php?showtopic=72) for checkers and cubes.

Rightclick on a person > invite > set the counter to S (for saved game, comes before the 1).
