Because one of our most respected members deleted a lot of files and all of his posts, i had to restore the backup of yesterday since it left a lot of topics unreadable. (yes, i make a backup every day ;) )
I had to take the board down for a while to restore the database and repair some damage.
Because of this we lost one day of posts. I tried to save them by merging them with yesterdays backup but it didn't work.
I am very sorry about this and hope it won't happen again.

I did. This is a personal disagreement between friends and not a sensible subject for public debate. I'm only posting here since the loss of posts affects other people and naturally creates questions.
We all share one thing: we care deeply about FIBS. Unfortunately having devotion for such an eccentric server brings forth a bit too much passion sometimes.
