This one really isn't too hard, but I missed it three times playing against GNUbg in Tutor mode. My thinking was leaving the blot at 15, vulnerable only to an indirect shot, was a good idea as a way to get an extra shot should RED be forced to split his back men. Clearly, it wasn't. RED might have two to three rolls before having to split them, and almost any 8 would be a killer resulting in a possible Gammon. GNUbg says:
